Solid Sodium Cyanide Plant Upgrade, Kwinana

Attachment 1 to Statement 700 – Increase in the liquid sodium cyanide production capacity from 70,000 to 85,000 tonnes per annum (tpa). Minor changes to the solid sodium cyanide plant facilities to accurately reflect the requirements for achieving the currently approved production capacity of 45,000 tpa – change to proposal approved under section 45C on 4 February 2013.

Attachment 2 to Statement 700 – Remove reference to the storage capacity of liquid sodium cyanide, the storage area for liquid sodium cyanide, and atmospheric emissions of ammonia and hydrogen cyanide and sodium cyanide (combined) – change to proposal approved under section 45C on 4 November 2014.

Attachment 1 to Statement 568 - Changes:

• Updated title and description to refer to Kemerton woodlot - Binningup woodlot deleted

• Refined general description of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) • Location description of the WWTP is updated to the current cadastral data description

Christmas Creek Iron Ore Mine Expansion

Attachment 1 to Statement 1033 - temporary presence of water in mining pits - change to proposal under s45C approved on 21 July 2017.

Attachment 2 to Statement 1033 - Changes:

  • Expansion of the Christmas Creek Mine Development Envelope (Depicted by the red line within Figures 1 to 4 of Schedule 1); and
  • Changes to the clearing of locally significant vegetation in Table 2 of Schedule 1.

Attachment 1 - increment of Pluto LNG development project disturbance footprint to allow for minor infrastructure reconfiguration and realignment, and for the addition of security fencing required due to the facility being classified as a site of Vital National Importance - s45C change to proposal approved on 6 May 2008.

Attachment 2 - to include the construction of an Emergency Escape Route (walkpath) from Site B to Haul Road in the currently approved disturbance footprint of the proposal (as shown on Figure 5) - s45C change to proposal approved on 20 August 2009.

Attachment 3 - To increase the land disturbance footprint of the proposal by 3.03 hectares - change to proposal approved under s45C on 29 March 2010.

Attachment 5 - Changes:

  • Deletion of the described gas field from the Proposal preamble, to clarify that gas from other fields can be processed at Pluto LNG (as per the Public Environmental Review);
  • Deletion of the described gas turbine types used to drive the liquefaction compressors and for power generation from Schedule 1, to allow for greater flexibility in turbine design;
  • Inclusion of gas export via shipping, trucking or piping to Schedule 1, to reflect the existence of the Pluto LNG trucking facility and proposed Pluto-North West Shelf Interconnector.
  • Deletion of the described gas field Pluto North West Shelf from the Proposal Schedule 1 to gas fields.

Attachment 3 to Statement 633 – Increase in disturbance footprint of 282 ha and removal of elements considered not environmentally relevant or managed under other legislation – change to proposal approved under section 45C on 12 August 2014.

  • Administrative changes to better define the proposal in schedule 1
