Murrayfield airpark and resort complex [807]
Project
Proposal description
The revised proposal includes:
a resort complex to accommodate approximately 370 tourists;
expanded airstrip facilities, involving two sealed runways (05/23 and 09/27) and one grassed runway for use by single and twin engine propeller driven aircraft. lt is expected that both experienced and trainee pilots will utilise the site; and
a nine hole golf course .
The location of the primary runway (05/23) has been relocated 30 metres to the east of the previously identified location to increase the noise buffer, which was the primary concern of the EPA in regard to the original proposal (the subject of EPA Bulletin 657).
