The West Bay Barge Landing has been in operation since 1944 and is located approximately 7 km east of the Mungalalu Truscott Airbase, in the Kimberley Region. The site is approximately 520 km west southwest of Darwin and 617 km northeast of Broome and is located on the Anjo Peninsula on the northern tip of Western Australia.
