In 1998 Main Roads Western Australia (Main Roads) referred Stages 2, 3 and 4 of the Karratha – Tom Price Road, now called the Manuwarra Red Dog Highway (the Original Proposal), to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). Main Roads WA is proposing to conduct works to upgrade approximately 1.5 kilometre (km) of High Street in the City of Fremantle, Western Australia.
