Land currently zoned “Residential” between Taplin and Withnell streets is to be rezoned “West End Residential”, and land currently zoned “Residential”, between Withnell and McKay streets is to be rezoned “Town Centre". This will have the effect of extending the “Town Centre” zone to the east from McKay to Withnell Street. Development in the “West End Residential” zone will be subject to special scheme provisions that define land use and building design.
