Proposal description

The Shire of Busselton proposes to build a regional aerodrome to cater for the requirements of the Royal Flying Doctor Service and for local aviation operators, as well as to provide a focus for anticipated growth in tourism serviced by air transport throughout the South West Region of Western Australia. The Busselton locality is currently serviced by a landing area on a site which is privately owned and is severely limited in its ability to expand.
