Woodside Energy Technologies Pty Ltd propose to develop a liquid hydrogen production facility within the Rockingham Industrial Zone in Rockingham and Kwinana. The facility is proposed to produce up to 30,000 tonnes per annum of liquid hydrogen in the initial phase of development, primarily for export, with potential future supply to domestic markets.
The plant area is proposed within a 120 hectare development envelope. The proposal requires up to 6 hectares of clearing for areas of the development that fall outside of Derived Proposal 5 of the Rockingham Industrial Zone Strategic Proposal.
