The Intractable Waste Disposal Facility (IWDF) is 75km north-east of Koolyanobbing and approximately 53km north-east of Jaurdi Station Homestead (unoccupied). The site occupies a 25km2 Crown Reserve No. 42001 and is accessed by a 100km long dedicated unsurfaced road (Crown Reserve No. 44102) that extends northward from the Boorabbin Siding on Great Eastern Highway.

This inquiry under s46 is in regard to consolidation of environmental conditions of Ministerial Statements 44, 205, 353 and 533, and introduction of waste acceptance criteria.
