Project Proponent BHP Billiton Iron Ore Pty Ltd Proposal description The proposal is to extend the existing Wheelarra Hill open pits, develop the South Jimblebar and Hashimoto deposits, and to increase the ore processing capacity by 30 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) to 75 mtpa.
