Project Proponent Rhone-Poulenc Chimie Australia Pty Ltd Proposal description The proposal is to build and operate a rare earth plant on a site 4 km south of Alcoa Alumina Refinery and adjacent to the existing Rhone-Poulenc Gallium Plant at Pinjarra, approximately 100km south of Perth and 30 km south-east of Mandurah. The plant will produce 15,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of solid rare earth nitrate concentrate.
