The Shire of Nannup (the Shire) proposes to replace its current Local Planning Scheme No. 3 (LPS 3) with Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (LPS 4). LPS 4 is an updated version of LPS 3 that aligns with the Shire’s Local Planning Strategy and the state, regional and local planning framework.
Lots 557 to 563 DP 67882 Premier Road Shotts is currently zoned Special Use 11, allowing for industrial land uses associated with the coal industry. The Shire proposes to amend LPS 5 to increase the range of permissible land uses to allow industry not related to coal to be permitted, and include further structure planning provisions for Lots 557-563 Premier Road; and to include additional land use definitions for the whole scheme area.
The Shire of Manjimup proposes to rezone 9.5 ha of Lot 7489 Burma Road, Pemberton from ‘Future Development’ to ‘Tourist Enterprise’. The rezoning will facilitate the development of a camping ground and caravan park. Amendment 24 also proposes to change the reserve status of portions of two neighbouring lots from ‘Public Purposes: Government Requirements’ and ‘State Forest and Other Forest Reserves’ to ‘Local Roads’ to facilitate road access.
Amendment 82 proposes to amend land use definitions (to align with the Model provisions for
local planning schemes as laid out in the Planning and Development Regulations 2015) and
introduce updated use class permissibility and parking requirements for new land uses.
The City of Subiaco proposes Amendment 1 to clarify that Heritage Listed properties and
declared Heritage Areas adopted under its previousTown Planning Scheme No. 4 continue to
have the same protection under Local Planning Scheme No. 5.
Amendment 12 proposes to rezone the land from ‘Local Centre’ zone, ‘Local Road’ and ‘Parks, Recreation and Drainage’ to ‘Residential’ in Broome North. ‘Child Care Centre’ to be included as an ‘Additional Use’.
Amendment 8 proposes to reserve Lot 10890 Cottrill Street, Myaree as Public Open Space, from the Residential R40 zone.
Amendment 103 proposes to remove an anomaly under the Scheme where the designated purpose for a reserve is not consistent with the reserve classification. Lot 613 is proposed to be reclassified from ‘Local Open Space’ to ‘Civic and Community’. New provisions are also proposed to be consistent with the ‘Model Provisions for Local Planning Schemes’ contained in the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
Amendment 105 proposes to amend an existing development contribution area. This amendment is administrative in nature and relates to the deletion of supplementary and unnecessary notes for the equation used to calculate the Cost Contribution Rate for the above area.
Amendment 138 will facilitate the redevelopment of the Eastern Highway Precinct along Stirling Highway, for mixed uses with apartments while adding building design controls including heights and setback requirements.
