Transferring approximately 10.2 hectares of land in High Wycombe from the ‘Urban’ zone and ‘Rural’ zones to the ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The amendment also proposes to zone a small ‘Urban’ area for future Public Open Space.

This will change the land use permissibility of ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ from a ‘discretionary land’ use to a ‘not permitted’ land use in the ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone; Rezone Lot 29 Barradine Way, Craigie from ‘Private Community Purposes’ to Residential R40 and add ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ to the land at Joondalup Resort.
The Shire of Murray proposes to modify the Special Provisions for the Point Grey Special Development zone set out in Schedule 7 of the Scheme to remove discretion for planning approval of a marina, to amend or remove other provisions relating to a marina and making consequential changes to reflect this.
