Amendment 117 proposes to rezone part of Lot 9004 (number 139) Balcatta Road, Balcatta, from ‘Industry’ to ‘Industry’ and ‘Additional Use (A94) - Educational Establishment’. The proposed additional use is to facilitate the expansion of the training courses offered by Safety Direct Solutions Pty Ltd, and to allow training to be undertaken on-site
Amendment 109 proposes to correct mapping inconsistences, and amend scheme text to bring the scheme into line with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme) Regulations 2015
Local Planning Scheme 7 (LPS 7) is proposed to replace the existing Town Planning Scheme 5 (TPS 5). LPS 7 includes changes to text, zoning and scheme provisions as compared to TPS 5. The new scheme proposes a number of changes including new zones, rezonings, text updates, scheme provision amendments, additional uses and the introduction of new and updating of existing Special Control Areas. The changes update the Scheme to align with the Planning and Development Regulations 2015.
Amendment 85 proposes to include the additional use of ‘Restaurant/Café’ for Lots 31-35 Canning Highway, Victoria Park. This applies to the ground floor of an existing multi-storey residential building.
Amendment 188 an administrative transfer of land from the City of Swan to the City of Belmont local planning scheme, without changes to the existing zonings and reserves.
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) has initiated Metropolitan Scheme Amendment (MRA) 1367/57 to rezone Part Lot 5131 Jandakot Rd and Part Lot 705 from the Rural-Water Protection zone to the Urban zone. Rationalisation of Bush Forever Site 390 (addition 2.369 ha and removal 9.58 ha) is also proposed.
Development WA proposes to add land in Bayswater and Forrestfield to the Midland Redevelopment Scheme 2 and rename the scheme to the METRONET East Redevelopment Scheme and make a number of other minor amendments in order to ensure best practise planning principles are applied.
Amendment 5 proposes to swap the respective scheme reservation and zoning for the above lots to correct an administrative error from the original preparation of the scheme.
Amendment 7 proposes to recode various properties in the ‘Broadway Corridor’ and the ‘Transition Area’.
The Shire of Murray proposes to modify the Special Provisions for the Point Grey Special Development zone set out in Schedule 7 of the Scheme to remove discretion for a marina, to amend or remove other provisions relating to a marina and making consequential changes to reflect this.
